Governance of CEC The Apex body of Governance of CEC is Governing Council which takes decision with regard to the policy matters and larger issues concerning the development of the Consortium for Educational Communication. The Governing Council is headed by the Chairman, University Grants Commission as Ex-officio President of the Council. Financial decisions are taken by the Finance Committee The executive decision making body is Governing Board and Chairman of the Governing Board is nominated by the President of the Council and Director of the Consortium for Educational Communication is the Member Secretary of the Governing Board. There is Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). TAC takes decision with regard to Hardware and Software aspects. The Committee is headed by the Director of the Consortium for Educational Communication. The composition of Governing Council, Governing Board, Finance Committee and Technical Advisory Committee and their present members are given below:-
